Resident Agreements
Living in Oak Forest means we are making intentional community agreements with our neighbors to follow the guidelines listed in our Restrictions & Constitution and By-Laws. In addition, we agree to follow the dog policies and burning policies as laid out by the town of Little Compton, RI.
Oak Forest List of Restrictions
Constitution and By-Laws
Town of Little Compton Dog Ordinance
Town of Little Compton Outdoor Burning
Please Note: Our community is perfect for walking and riding bikes and an unattended approaching dog can be intimidating and unwelcome. Please keep your dog in your yard and do not allow him/her to roam freely.
If you have an issue with an unattended dog:
1. If you know who the owner is, please go knock on their door and discuss the situation.
2. If you don't know who the owner is, please call Officer Sue Cressman at the Little Compton Police Department for guidance. (401.635.2311)
Please Note: We live in a gorgeous forest and all strive to keep it that way!
Especially in the summer, please be extra aware of fire pits, open burning, leaving burning, fireworks, and wind carrying smoke and sparks into your neighbor's yard.
All it takes is one spark to do a lot of damage to our beautiful community.
